The helicopter approached the burnt and abandoned town of Seleia. The MSF team exited the fuselage on the rocky pad and watched the helicopter take off.
After a lot of effort our Sudanese MSF co worker was returned to us. He is safe and he appears to be functional. The staffs here were able to sleep soundly for the first time since he was missing.
Two months ago, in mid-December, I had to leave Seleia because of bomb attacks. Since the evacuation the MSF team has been monitoring the situation to see if it is safe for return.
