Angeline is a Family Physician working in Kitchanga in the North Kivu province of Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.This is her second mission with MSF and she is with her boyfriend, Claudio, who is also the Mental Health Officer of the project.
Angeline graduated from St George’s Medical School, London. After she obtained her postgraduate diploma, she returned to Singapore and started her training in Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care. She stepped out of specialist training, retrained as a Family Physician and obtained her Diploma in Tropical medicine in order to facilitate her lifelong passion for humanitarian work. She currently works with Raffles Medical Group in Singapore Changi Airport. She has a very understanding boss who has allowed her to take no-pay leave for her missions.
