My name is Aoife Doran. I am twenty-nine years old and I am a doctor from Ireland. I live in Dublin, my home city, and I enjoy running, hiking and cycling.

I am working with MSF in Tripoli, Northern Lebanon, 31 km from the border with Syria. Tripoli has become host to tens of thousands of Syrian refugees who are fleeing their own country due to the ongoing devastation and turmoil there.
