In humanitarian crises around the world, children are among the most vulnerable. Paediatricians with Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) have varied and rewarding roles, providing desperately needed care.
Some of the most common issues faced by our young patients include malaria, malnutrition, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, tropical diseases, and physical and psychological trauma sustained in conflict zones. This diverse role involves balancing management with teaching and clinical work.
