Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) works to bring medical care to some of the most vulnerable people in the world, but we cannot do so without adequate and effective diagnostic tests, drugs and vaccines. In the poorest parts of Africa and Asia, half of the population does not have access to these essential medicines. There are two major issues: the high cost of existing drugs, and the absence of treatments for the diseases that affect patients in the parts of the world where we work. MSF is fighting this inequality through our Access Campaign.
