I am a general practitioner and completed my first assignment with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Magaria, Niger, on a paediatric and malnutrition project. I've always had an interest in working with vulnerable populations and, above all, with children. Before joining MSF, I started my career as a doctor in the arctic region of Canada with an Inuit aboriginal community, where I worked for four years. I also currently volunteer for Médecins du Monde in a clinic for stateless migrants in Montreal. I like writing about my experiences to share them with others and advocate for the most in need.
