Tomi Lamikanra is a physician, and has worked with MSF in Nigeria, Kenya, Sudan, South Sudan, Sudan and Yemen.
She started working with MSF in Port Harcourt and in Northern Nigeria where she chased epidemics of cholera and meningitis on the front seat of a white Toyota 4 X 4.
Tomi is interested in the availability of health care services in rural areas and also helping to eliminate the disparity of health care access in rural areas.
She loves to read, travel and write and writing these letters was her way of coping with work on the field. Living and working with people from different countries and with different backgrounds is always a highlight of her time with MSF.
