Mixing Medicine with "Muthi" , not a good idea

Well we all have different beliefs and religion. When it comes to healing, many patients become desperate and see options that are available out there.

Well while I was in Brooklyn Chest Hospital there were other patients who chose "muthi" - traditional 'remedies' - over medicine, now choosing a 1,5 litre bottle with brownish greenish liquid inside over 20 drugs a day might seem like a good idea to those who believe in it, but along the way many ended up in "sick bay" of course the "muthi" didn't work.

I've been asked a lot whether I've drinked anything else for my cure, be it Holy water or natural medicine. I told them none but drugs I was given by my doctor, we jingled them; got resistant to a few. Some worked well with the new drug MSF managed to get me Linezolid. So no herbs nor "muthi" cured me, it was all drugs.

We might get advice to elders saying we must do this and do that, but then again it goes down to what one believes. Yes sure, you might drink the holy water but that doesn't mean you should quit your drugs, after all it's water. Now there's "muthi" well that one is strong, you may vomit a lot then it won't work well with drugs.

Trying to convince people especially those older to me , they will have that look "oh look at her she thinks she knows better"

WELL I TRIED!
