I am from a ranching family in rural, southwestern Montana where I work as a Family Nurse Practitioner in public health. After my daughter went to college and my mother no longer needed me, I began to work intermittently with MSF. My first assignment was in Malawi on a large HIV project. Later I worked on two different malnutrition projects in South Sudan - one was hospital-based and one involved outreach clinics. My assignment here in Sierra Leone is my first experience with Ebola.
