My name is Nicolas Palarus and I came to Hangu, Pakistan in March 2013 to work as a logistics coordinator for MSF. I then took up the post of Field Coordinator for MSF’s project in Kurram Agency. Due to security constraints, I’m managing the Kurram Agency project remotely from Peshawar, but we’re hoping to eventually bring overseas staff there on the longer term. Prior to this mission in Pakistan, I’ve worked in South Sudan, CAR, Haiti, Congo Brazzaville and DRC (North Kivu province); I’ve also written a novel based on my experience in Haïti with MSF that will be published next December.
I live in Contrexeville, Vosges, north eastern France, but my heart is in Marseille.
