Margaret Ngunang is a mental health specialist from the USA.
Margaret trained as a family therapist in New York, and has a background in treating domestic violence victims and their children. She has also provided support for HIV/AIDS patients and their families, foster care children and children in protective services.
Inspired by her daughter Mirabelle Adamu’s own work with MSF as a pharmacist, Margaret decided to apply to MSF herself.
She is currently on her first assignment in Bentiu, South Sudan, providing mental health support and training.
