I am staying in a hospice since last 3 months. I have been following my treatment regularly. I want to finish with my treatment as soon as possible. Now here I was finding it much easier for me to take my treatment. But now the doctor and sister-in-charge wants me out of the hospice and go back and work. I do not want to move from here, but what can I do? I have to listen to them. They say now you are fit to work and you can follow your remaining treatment from MSF as they suggest.
They have done good things for me - more than expected. I have been looked after very well and the place is very good. I do not want to leave this place, but no patient is allowed to stay for a longer period of time. I stayed for much longer than expected, as they say. It is not good for me to stay for long here as other TB patients they come here and I could see that none of the patients use mask regularly.
If I leave from here I do not have a place to stay. My brother had gone to where he's from for more than a month. He is back now and looking for a new job. He is not stable yet. He is staying at a group of relatives in a small room (10X15 feet). He would accommodate me, but his roommates are not ready to allow me to stay with them. My only option is go back to where I'm from, but then I could not continue my TB treatment. If I stay with my family with all these medicines they will also be afraid of me and my TB infection.
