I am a pediatrician joining MSF for my first mission in Aweil, South Sudan.
I graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine, where I was inducted into the Chapman Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, recognizing humanism in medicine. I was also a student leader for medical mission trips to Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
I completed my pediatric residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Children's Medical Center Dallas, where I was on the medical staff for Camp TLC for children with spina bifida. And just before joining MSF I was a Pediatrician at All Children's Hospital, Johns Hopkins medicine, and I was able to join the World Pediatric Project on a neurosurgical mission trip to Guatemala.
I am looking forward to my time working in Aweil.
