Born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, Karry Jose Felix, 38, is a general surgeon, graduated from the State University of Haiti.
He has a particular interest in traumatology, reconstructive surgery, burns, teaching, research and humanitarian work. He worked at the Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) burns center in Drouillard, Haiti from 2016 to 2019. After an international master's degree in Public Health in Jerusalem and a clinical fellowship in Global Surgery in Ottawa, he joined MSF's pool of surgeons travelling to assignments in humanitarian emergencies around the world.
