James is a doctor from the UK, currently on assignment with Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in Sierra Leone, where he works as an advocacy manager – helping to ensure that the health needs of communities are met by partnering with local people and partner organisations.
He has previously worked as an MSF doctor in South Sudan, and as a researcher at MSF offices in Geneva and Barcelona.
James first became involved with MSF while at medical school. After which, between 2012-2013, he served as national coordinator for the Friends of MSF Network in the UK and Ireland.
