Hi, I’m Erik Slingerland, I’m 31 years old and from the Netherlands. I arrived in Quetta, a provincial capital in Pakistan, in July 2013, and I’m here working as a logistician. MSF runs a 50-bed children’s hospital with a mother and child centre in Quetta. The team here help mothers and their babies during and after childbirth, and operate a therapeutic nutrition programme for children under five. This is my second mission with MSF. I previously worked in Lulimba in Democratic Republic of Congo.
