"We started pulling people out of the sea . . . There were 25 children under five, little children being pulled out of these dinghies."

Every year, thousands of people fleeing violence, insecurity, and persecution at home attempt a treacherous journey across the Mediterranean Sea to reach Europe. In May Ed took part in his first rescue on board the the MV Aquarius, a search and rescue boat run by SOS MEDITERRANEE and MSF. He sent us this video blog about what happened.
