My name is Daniela. I'm a psychologist from the city of Brasilia in Brazil.
I’ve worked with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) since 2010, but for the last three years I’ve been working in Brazil for the Sexually Transmitted Infection, HIV/AIDS and Viral Hepatitis Department (DDAHV) of the Ministry of Health. So I’ve just now got back to my work with MSF.
This is my third MSF project, and for the first one in Asia, working in Mumbai, India. I'm working in a project that focuses on HIV and drug-resistant tuberculosis, where I'll be leading the patient support team.
You can find out more about drug-resistant tuberculosis (including a great video) here.
