I am a fist missioner with Médecins Sans Frontières, tasked with the role of logistics manager at a primary healthcare project in Mayom, South Sudan.
My background is mixed to say the least: construction, education, youth work, project management and logistics.
From the outset this blog will be my means of keeping those of you interested up to date on my six month MSF mission. My prose will be a combination of opinion (all be it factual where necessary) and life, offloading thought and experience. I will try to keep it on point and real – I’m not a massive fan of emotions. Therefore expect relatively brief updates, all apart from the opener – you'll have to allow me to overly verbalise just the once.
