I’ve been working with MSF since 2006, first as a field logistician, then as a Logistics coordinator in several countries including Angola, Congo, Haiti, CAR, Chad, and some others, and most recently as a construction specialist for MSF OCB in Brussels.
I’m a construction engineer by profession and I have a masters degree in Sustainable Architecture.
Before working with MSF I had my own construction company in Chile, my country of origin. I joined MSF because I was tired of the vices on the construction industry, and because I really liked the challenge of doing what I know best in contexts where it’s really a need and not a commodity.
It’s not about competition; it’s about cooperation.
I’m really happy about my decision. I really like what I do.
