Before doing my internship, I worked a year at a regional hospital in Ethiopia as a volunteer.
This experience had a deep impact on me, as I encountered poverty and corruption for the first time, but also people with courage and integrity, doing a huge job. Therefore, after finishing my internship I decided to sign up for MSF. I'm now in Zimbabwe for seven months at my first MSF mission working with kids and adolescents with HIV.
MSF is part of an HIV/TB clinic in the suburbs of Harare with 10,000 patients, focusing on pediatric HIV, multidrug resistant tuberculosis and treatment failure.
