I am doing some small exercises now. In the morning, I jog around, come back, clean my room… Then in the evening I take a walk around town. When I was in primary school, I used to run 25 times around the field, about 1250 metres. And I was fast!
Before I was sick I used to do kickboxing, training for long hours in the mornings and in the evening after work. We started very early in the morning. From around 5 am to 10 am. Then we would rest in the day and train again from 4 until 8pm. Everyday like that. I am on the middle belt. I know how to kick it!
I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to kick boxing though. I cannot tell because I am still feeling bad. I’m very doubtful. I doubt that when I finish these drugs, I will be able to go back to that level.

Thank you for sharing your story. I really admire your positive attitude and your courage. I hope things start to get better for you very soon!
Stay positive, try to smile and laugh as much as you can, laughter is the best medicine!!!!
Dear Opira, I am glad you are perservering with the TB medications. I know it must be hard to tolerate all those pills. It is a good thing that you are starting to exercise. Just take baby steps when building up strength. I have made come backs from illness by just starting to walk around the block, then walking a little farther each week. One thing I found out that over doing it will not help. Best wishes, Kay
