Martissant, Port-au-Prince – January 17, 2010
Hélène Rémy, 31 years old, nurse in Carrefour, and her husband Jonas François, 30 years old, were burnt during the earthquake due to an explosion on the street. They were brought to the Martissant clinic on Tuesday night, the night of the quake. They were treated for their injuries as soon as they arrived. Hélène has both her legs, her back, both arms and her face burnt while her husband has his back, face and arms burnt. They are side by side under nets in a tent outside.
