Boat full of rice bags. The Kosi river, mighty tributary of the Himalaya streams, caused a dam to burst in neighboring Nepal leading to the biggest flood India has known in half a century. Many flood victims in remote corners of Bihar such as the Saharsa area have gone without food for days.
