Bucharest, Romania – March 1999
A homeless person is taking a shower in MSF’s socio-medical center where around 5,000 homeless adults find medical and psychological assistance. MSF began this project in 1997. Through direct medical and psychosocial care and information activities, the MSF team brought essential services to thousands of homeless people. In December 2003, a new Romanian association was launched to carry on the work that MSF had begun.

Un sans-abri se douche au centre sociomédical de MSF où près de 5000 sans-abris adultes trouvent une assistance médicale et psychologique. MSF a démarré ce projet en 1997. Grâce à des soins médicaux et psychosociaux et des séances d’information, l’équipe MSF a introduit des services essentiels à des milliers de sans-abris. En décembre 2003, une nouvelle association roumaine a été lancée pour poursuivre le travail entamé par MSF.par MSF.
