I've done multiple assignments with MSF. When not on mission I live and work as a nurse in the Yukon, Canada.

During my first mission in Djibouti a local MSF staff member asked me if people at home were aware of the living standards and the quality of life of her people. Sadly, I had to tell her that most Canadians had no idea where Djibouti was – and it made me realize the importance of sharing stories with others.

I see it as part of my job with MSF to share the stories of the people I meet in the field. Blogging gives me the opportunity to do this – so thanks for reading this blog.
