Amy Arlette Nyland is a pediatric nurse from Vancouver, Canada. She is currently working in Lankien, South Sudan at the MSF hospital.

Most of Amy's work is in the Outpatient Department (OPD), with local staff who receive between 200-400 patients (including many children) each day. People often travel long distances to reach the hospital, seeking treatment for malaria, malnutrition, diarrhoea, parasites, respiratory illness and many other challenges.

Before working in South Sudan Amy also worked with MSF in the Central African Republic and in Chad.
