Dear Naz, it’s wonderful to read your PNG blog, all the rich vivid details, I can hear your voice in my head and imagine all the feelings you have sensitively bundled into these powerful vignettes of your life there. I used to work for MSF Canada, 5 long years ago. Funny how we seem to intersect places at different points in time. I hope you alleviate as much suffering as you can, and make your way back home safely.

Dear Nazanin,
For a first visit on the MSF website and for a second Blob I read, I was (ébranlée)… I been travelling solo outside the beaten track, long enough to change for life… But living with the locals and specially as a doctor… Indeed you will never be the same…. Be prapare when you come back for a culture shock… Most of our problems are so superficials!
Please accept:
My deepest condolences for your lost
My admiration for your courage and compassion even in the moments when you feel weak, helpless, and exhausted…
And by the way… yours ghosts will sleep in peace… same as you! … Because, you will never save the world but just… one life at the time… And this, it’s a miracle by itself!
May your journey be safe,
